Attorney Ashleigh M. Hacker completed both her undergraduate degree and law degree at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies and Sociology and a Certificate in Criminal Justice in 2013, and a Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 2018. She qualified for a family law certificate from the University of Wisconsin Law School and, in 2018, received the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers Award recognizing her commitment and dedication to family law. During law school she worked for the Family Law Project, a clinical program of the Frank D. Remington Center, and for Balisle Family Law as a law clerk.
Attorney Hacker was born and raised in the Madison, Wisconsin area and has strong ties to the community. Her grandpa, who grew up in Madison’s historic Greenbush neighborhood, sparked her interest in the law with long discussions about policy and important community issues.
Prior to law school, Attorney Hacker worked in the City of Madison Mayor’s Office, where she assisted a number of city residents daily with their questions and concerns.
She focuses her practice on all aspects of divorce litigation and alternative dispute resolution.
