Attorney Hacker has exclusively practiced family law throughout her career, representing clients through all aspects of divorce litigation, alternative dispute resolution, and appeals. She has substantial experience working with complex financial assets, business valuations, and intra-state jurisdictional issues, including Hague Convention cases.
Attorney Ashleigh M. Hacker completed both her undergraduate degree and law degree at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. In 2013 she earned a dual Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies and Sociology as well as a Certificate in Criminal Justice. In 2018 she earned a Juris Doctor, cum laude.
Prior to joining Balisle Family Law Legal Counsel, S.C. Attorney Hacker worked for the Family Law Project, a clinical program of the Frank D. Remington Center, assisting incarcerated individuals with family law matters. She also worked for the City of Madison Mayor’s Office where she collaborated with city residents and staff to address important community issues and contributed to policy reports and initiatives.
