Attorney Balisle served on the Board of the Wisconsin Law Foundation from 1988 to 1995, and is a current fellow of the American Bar Foundation. She is a recipient of the Wisconsin Law Foundation’s Belle Case LaFollette award for outstanding service to the profession. She has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America and Martindale Hubbell’s Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers for several years. Super Lawyers has named Attorney Balisle one of the top lawyers in Wisconsin and in Madison for several years. She was recognized as Madison's Best Family Law Attorney by Best Lawyers in America in 2009.
Involved with Community
Attorney Balisle has been active in many community organizations, including past service as president of the YWCA of Madison, president of the Civic Center Foundation Board, and president of TEMPO, a local business women’s group. She also served as a director on three for-profit boards, including Wisconsin Specialty Protein in Reedsburg, Wisconsin, Whole Trees, LLC in Madison, WI and Community Business Bank, in Sauk City, Wisconsin. Attorney Balisle is licensed to practice law in the State of Wisconsin, the U.S. Federal Western District of Wisconsin, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
When Attorney Balisle started practicing in 1980, she also began supporting The Rainbow Project which provides direct services for children who have been physically and/or sexually abused. She represented children who were receiving counseling at The Rainbow Project and knew the positive affect they had on children and families. She continues to raise money and be grateful for all the work The Rainbow Project does for our community.
